Once upon a time, Hannah and Nate worked at the same Casey's gas station in Madison Lake. They started talking and bonded over countless games of Trivia Crack (Nate won a majority of the rounds)! The dating commenced; it was 2015 and the number of times they went to Perkins is too many to count.
Together, they've enjoyed trips to Grand Marais, Colorado, and endless fishing adventures. They went from finishing college and living in St. Peter and Madison Lake, to graduating and moving to Bemidji in fall 2018! At first, they said, "we'll just be here a couple years, gain some work experience, and move back". Fast forward to summer 2021 and they bought their first home, just outside of town. Guess they like it up north with all the lakes and deer in the front yard. ☺️
In July of 2022 - just ten days after their 7 year anniversary - Nate finally proposed! On their 5th trip to beautiful Grand Marais, at the fishing spot they always go to with the duckies swimming by, Hannah was completely surprised when Nate asked the question. ❤️ The adventures are far from over!
