Sheep and I both went to Nordonia schools when we were growing up. He lived across the street from my best friend in middle school and I would always joke with her about how handsome he is and how he would be my man one day. He was a senior when I was a freshman so our paths never crossed in high school. I few years after that he came up on my Facebook page and something told me to message him.

"Hi I'm Hannah, do you remember me?"

He replied "Yeah, you went to Nordonia!"

We talked briefly about how life has been since school ended. Then, one chilly fall day I was looking for a place to hike.. I made a post on Facebook to see if anyone wanted to join. Sheep messaged me a few minutes later saying he would love to hike, but wanted to know if I liked dogs. He assured me his Shea Shea was a very good girl and went everywhere with him. I responded that I love dogs but I was finding myself at the moment after a bad relationship and that this was "not a date." With that we decided we would meet at Bedford Viaduct for a hike. After a beautiful hike, we decided to drive to Cleveland to meet up with a friend. As we pulled in Sheep stated he had lost his wallet. I helped him search the car at the same time, realizing he had said he been stole from before and was secretly hoping he didn't think that I took it. After searching the car I suggested we go back to Bedford and see if he dropped it? The whole way back I was quietly fighting tears hoping this beautiful man didn't think I took his wallet on our first (not) date. He was so calm the entire drive.

When we pulled in the parking lot was now empty, it had gotten dark. The parking lot had two street lights. As we circled the parking lot we rolled up to the last streetlight and lo and behold, his wallet was laying open with absolutely everything in it! We celebrated and called it a good night.

A few months of hikes later we went to Nelson Ledges Quarry Park for the first time together. After setting up camp, I had a migraine ( a normal thing for me) so I said I would lay in the van and come join the fun after my medicine worked. I shut the door and laid down. A few seconds later I heard the door open and Sheep and Shea Shea jumped in the back with me. I tried to explain that migraines were a normal thing for me and I just need 20 mins for my medicine to work and assured him he could go have fun and I would be right behind him. He smiled and sat next to me and said "I can wait til you feel better, than we can go." It was that moment I knew this was the man I wanted to be with.

We had a blast camping that night, and the next morning we woke up talking about iguanas and how I always wanted one. The next weekend we ended up at the reptile show rescuing an iguana together. My mind said that was quick, but my heart said when you know, you know. After that, love started blooming so organically. Everyday was full of love and exploring with Shea Shea and getting to know everything about each other and this beautiful thing we call life.

One day, I came home from work to Sheep standing outside our apartment with a can of powdered milk. I laughed and asked what he was planning on doing with that? and he opened the door and out came the fattest little puppy! We named her Kyanite and before we knew it we had a whole little family! A little later came a chihuahua named Duzy. Life was becoming a dream as we worked hard and played harder!

One morning, I woke up to Sheep telling me I need to go to the hospital something was wrong. I didn't know our entire life was about to change. After a trip to the hospital quickly turned to emergency brain surgery, I found out I had cancer. I had to face things no 26 year old ever should. We had very hard talks no couple should ever have to have. And to my delight, he chose, yet again, to stay by my side. Not only that, he changed his entire life to make sure we were gonna be okay. When I didn't know if I would be okay, he told me it would be okay, He worked so I wouldn't worry about losing my job. He loved and cared for me during treatment even when I didn't feel good or the medicine made me grumpy. He did so much for me that I don't even think I realized this level of love could even exist. I don't wish any couple has to go through the trials and tribulations we have conquered together. However, I will say these things have made us so much stronger and brought us so much closer and really taught us both how to love. Truly love.

I couldn't say YES! fast enough when my best friend and the man of my dreams got down on his knee asked me to marry him at Electric Forest, it all felt like a dream come true! We've both worked so hard for this! We're so excited to see how good this love story can get... and now we're so excited to announce were getting married and making it official! We cant wait to welcome all the friends and family we've made a long the way to help us celebrate our special day! All there's left to do is Smile, Smile, Smile.
