Where it all (kind of) started - our best friends had just started dating, which led us to a boat day on Lake Powell in Arizona on our separate girls' and guys' spring break trips. I had a huge crush on Tommy at the time and didn't do a very good job of hiding it.

We went to formal together 'as friends' and had pretty much the best night ever. Zoom in past my dear friend Caleigh in the foreground to see us talking at our table :)

Tommy started driving up to College Station all the time to see me. We spent a lot of time in the car going back and forth to see each other and meeting in Bastrop for date nights.

We celebrated our birthdays on the 4th because Thomas's is on the 3rd and mine is on the 5th. That night, he gave me a photo album of all the photos we had taken on a disposable camera over the summer together. On the last page, he had written a note telling me that he loved me. He wanted it to be in writing for the first time so that I could keep that memory forever :')

Our first Valentines' Day together - in New Orleans with all of our friends right before COVID started!

Got to spend a lot more time together because of lockdown! The girls and I threw a formal dinner party for our boyfriends and blindfolded them on the way there so they wouldn't know where we were going - necessity breeds innovation, I guess.

First road trip together! We drove all the way to Idaho and ate a lot of snacks in the car to save money (it builds character).
