The story begins on February 25th, 2021 when Josh made the first move to contact Hannah via Facetime. At this time, Josh attended Tarleton State University in Stephenville, TX and Hannah attended Texas A&M University in College Station, TX. After hearing of one another through their roommates, they would spend the next month talking on Facetime regularly and planning their first in-person date. Josh decided to take Hannah horse back riding at the Brazos Bluffs Ranch in Waco, TX (the halfway point between College Station and Stephenville). They quickly found out they grew up in the same hometown of Crowley, TX and realized God had brought them together. For the next 3 years Josh and Hannah managed a long distance relationship with many letters, care packages, facetime calls and weekend trips.

On December 29th, 2023 Josh prepared a private proposal for Hannah at her family's ranch house in Palestine, TX. He surprised her with a dinner alongside his and her immediate families and they spent the weekend together celebrating. Josh then headed back to Del Rio, TX to continue his pilot training and Hannah continued working towards her Physical Therapist Assistant License in Weatherford, TX. Hannah and Josh will begin their journey together in New Mexico after the wedding.

The two have been looking forward to the day they say "I do" and can't wait to finally end the long distance and daily facetime calls!
