Jacob and Hannah met in the spring of 2021, sharing a first date of fried green tomatoes, ice cream, and a walk in Falls Park. After a summer of friendship, Jacob bravely jumped into the deep end by meeting Hannah's entire family at her sister's wedding shower.

They have been on many adventures together, including a stay at a castle in England, a 48-hour trip to NYC to see Hannah's dream musical, a beach oasis in Mexico, and countless weekend getaways to Asheville. They have always clicked in similar interests-- happy to play in regular Dungeons and Dragons games, spend a Saturday watching football, or triple-feature movies for the fun of it.

Jacob pulled off the near impossible-- surprising Hannah with an engagement. During a trip to visit their new home in Durham, he arranged for friends and family to witness his proposal in Duke Gardens (see pictures with the red bridge!) and celebrate their future together at Chuy's!

Hannah and Jacob have squeezed so much life and joy into three short years, but they know there is so much more to come as husband and wife! Thank you for being a part of this chapter of their real-life romantic comedy. <3
