Ben and I walked down Winterhaven beach at sunrise. 

After some time, a couple walked up to us and the woman asked if she could share a photo that she had taken of us talking on the beach. I agreed and shared my phone number with her for the picture 

Well, only a few minutes later Ben proposed and of course, I immediately said yes! He explained that the diamond was his mother’s, and the ring was designed and created by our friend (shoutout Pam and Scott!) and will now forever be a family heirloom. 

It was such a blessing that by pure coincidence, that same couple made their way back to us on the beach and I walked up to thank the woman for taking that photo. She then was so kind to take a few more photos for us. While we were chatting, she said that her and her husband have been together fifty years, and let us know we had some “catching up” to do😉 

God made sure we had our perfect, personal moment - but also had some photos to look back on for the memories.
