In February of 2019, we met each other for the first time at Hannah's favorite bar, The Pipeline! Eli told his friend David, "I like scrunchie" and Hannah's roommate Melissa knew Hannah was on the lookout for her perfect Cowboy!

We had a first date a few days later and Valentine's Day became our anniversary! Every year on Valentine's Day, Eli gets me a dozen roses and we dry them and keep them in a shadow box.

We quickly fell in love... I mean very quickly.. like we might have said it on the first date..! Hannah was a junior at Grand Valley and Eli would work hard all day and come to visit in the evening. Thanks Eli for sacrificing your sleep schedule!

We spent our time getting to know and teaching our hobbies to each other. Hannah picked up axe throwing and Eli found ways to keep himself busy while Hannah studied!

Eli quickly became Ellie and took on the role of fun uncle!

and Hannah embraced her new role as Cheyenne's mom!

We spent all of summer 2019 on the beach with Shi eating ice cream and it was bliss!

Safe to say we became a family!

During Hannah's senior year at GV, COVID hit and we spent a lot of time with Brandon and Katie.. I mean A LOT!

That spring, Eli bought our beautiful school house where we plan to live once married!

Eli worked hard at teaching Hannah all his cowboy ways!

The summer of 2021, we spent mostly apart due to traveling for our jobs. Though it was hard, distance makes the heart grow fonder!

Hannah transitioned to the hospital and began her journey to head back to school and Eli advanced into a leadership role at JR Automation!

In 2022, we bought our boat! Or as Hannah likes to call it.. her floating engagement ring!

In January, Hannah began an accelerated nursing school program that she will finish in April of 2024 and Eli became the best study-buddy!

Just past our 4 year anniversary, Eli popped the big question! We spent the night celebrating with friends and family and had the best time ever!

With a mix of school and work, wedding planning began!
