We ask that all guests arrive between 4:00pm and 4:15pm for our 4:30pm ceremony.
Is there a dress code?
Yes! We ask that our guests wear black-tie optional attire. Tuxes and gowns are welcome, as are suits and cocktail dresses
Is the event outdoors or indoors?
The ceremony will take place outdoors and the reception will be a combination of outdoors & indoors (weather permitting). That being said, welcome to North Carolina, all of you out-of-towners - the weather in early September is pretty volatile so be sure to check before the big day.
Is there parking at the ceremony or reception?
Yes! There is plenty of parking at the venue. Our venue will host both our ceremony and reception. Please make note that Uber and Lyft will take you to the venue but will be difficult to get in return. We will provide transportation for our guests and if you would like to use the shuttles going to and/or from the wedding, please note how many seats for your party on the RSVP.
Will there be other transportation?
There will be shuttle buses provided to the venue if you would like to take them. They will be picking up at 3:15pm from both the Hampton Inn and the AC Hotel. Please indicate how many seats for your party on the RSVP.
What is the Welcome Party?
On Friday, September 6th, join as at the Avenue as a welcome to North Carolina and to spend some extra time celebrating before the big day!
