Our story began in a very 21st-century way with a swipe on an app...Shout out Bumble! After just one day of talking, Austin knew he didn’t want to waste time and asked Hannah out. Two days later, we had our first date, tacos and margaritas at Fuzzy’s, followed by a sunset in the back of Austin’s truck. We spent hours just talking, laughing, and realizing how easy it felt to be together.That night held a moment that showed Hannah exactly who Austin was. She had mentioned it was her momma’s birthday and that she liked to celebrate her by doing things her mom enjoyed since she is not here with us anymore. Austin remembered, and from the cooler in his truck, he pulled out two Coronas; her mom’s favorite, so they could raise a quiet toast together. It was thoughtful, kind, and deeply meaningful… and the beginning of something that felt so aligned and right.From then on, our relationship grew quickly and naturally. A month later, Austin asked Hannah to be his girlfriend, and soon after came our first “I love you’s.” We learned early on that we work best as a team, balancing our busy schedules with laughter, support, communication and so much love. Two and a half years later, we both agree, we knew from the start that this was something special.On August 23, 2025, Austin proposed at Garden of the Gods during a photo session. Before he could even get the words out, Hannah threw her fists in the air and shouted “YES!” a moment that perfectly captures the joy and certainty we’ve always felt about each other. Austin had planned a surprise engagement party with some of our closest friends and family, making the day an even more unforgettable start to our new future!Our relationship has always been centered in love, faith, laughter, grace and gratitude for the gift we’ve been given in each other by the Lord. We are so excited to continue building our life together, growing side by side, walking hand in hand towards God and celebrating this new chapter surrounded by the people who mean the most to us.
