The following dress code is just a suggestion based on what most people will be wearing, but first and foremost we want you to be comfortable and feel your best self! Please feel free to wear whatever makes you feel most beautiful and/or handsome :). Western wear is welcome at all of the events, but here are some suggestions for Indian attire if you desire:

Sangeet:

- Women: Consider a lehenga or a fancy salwar kameez. Wear your brightest colors! There will be dancing and revelry, so if you're not used to a sari, this may not be the best time for it.

- Men: Consider a kurta with or without a Nehru jacket.

Wedding Ceremony:

- Women: Most will be wearing a sari here, but lehengas or fancy salwar kameez are also an option. No color is off limits! If you require assistance with wrapping your sari, we will have family members available to help. Please let Harita or Colin know.

- Men: Kurtas are your best bet.

Reception

- Women: this will be a mix of western and Indian attire so feel free to wear what you feel best in. Most women in Indian attire will be wearing a sari or a lehenga.

- Men: likely that most men will be wearing western attire including but not limited to suits and blazers and slacks. If you want to wear Indian attire consider a fancier kurta or a sherwani.
