When it comes to Harlee and Vincent's love story, it is far from traditional or romantic. However, if you know Harlee and Vincent well, then you know the story is very fitting for them. Since Poplarville is a very small town, Harlee and Vincent knew of each other but had not officially met until they both attended a mutual friend's birthday party. While at the birthday party, Vincent asked Harlee if she would be his party game partner. Harlee was completely oblivious that this was Vincent's way of flirting with her. Vincent acknowledged that he had possibly picked the worst partner ever but was as happy as he could be by her side. The night continued and the birthday party moved to a different location. While at the new location, Vincent spent most of the night talking to Harlee. She still did not realize that Vincent was flirting with her. The night ended with Harlee and Vincent going their separate ways.

Several years later, two of Harlee's friends at the time kept telling Harlee that this guy, Vincent Talarigo, had a massive crush on her and that she should "just give him a chance". Harlee did not realize at this time that said friend, was Vincent's roommate. After the two friends finished plotting to set Harlee up with Vincent, they invited Harlee over for supper. Harlee walked into the kitchen and was very surprised to see Vincent standing in front of her. Turns out, Vincent was the one cooking supper. Harlee proceeded to ask Vincent, "What are you doing here?"; to which he replied, "I live here. What are you doing here?". If you know Harlee, then you know when she gets nervous, she rambles and things just pour out of her mouth. She proceeded to explain to Vincent every single topic that was going to be on her nursing exam the next day... which included topics that can't be listed here. Harlee and Vincent decided to hang out once following this kitchen interaction but did not end up together at this point. The connection was there- the timing was not right.

Fast forward to Christmas of that year, Harlee informed her whole family that she had found the guy she was going to marry. They all sighed and asked who she could possibly be talking about. This resulted in Harlee's entire family adding a guy named "Vincent Talarigo" on Facebook so they could see this guy she was smitten with. Since Vincent and Harlee hadn't talked in months, Vincent decided to reach out to see why Harlee's family added him on social media. Harlee responded with, "I told them I found my future husband". Finally, in January of 2020, Harlee decided to reach out to Vincent and asked him to go on a Sonic date with her. In true Harlee fashion, she showed up to pick him up with a wet head, no makeup, and pajamas on. They headed to Sonic and bonded over strawberry cheesecake milkshakes. Vincent told Harlee after two weeks of hanging out with her, "you're going to be my wife one day". The rest is history and the two of them have been inseparable since their Sonic date.

Harlee and Vincent's story may not be romantic or traditional, but it is a true testament that God's timing is always right, and you will end up with who He has made for you. Vincent and Harlee have both come a long way since their first Sonic date. They now have a beautiful home together and share a doggy daughter named Khloe. Their love for each other continues to grow daily and they hope you will attend this milestone in their relationship.
