When do we need to RSVP by?
Please RSVP by April 25 using the RSVP link that will be included in your invitation. If you do not RSVP in time, we will assume that you are unable to attend.
Are children welcome?
As much as we love your little ones, we have decided to make this celebration an adults-only event. We are not able to accommodate guests under 16 years old. We encourage you to enjoy this night out!
Will there be a bar?
We have decided to have an alcohol-free wedding. We ask that guests do not bring their own, per our venue regulations. Instead, enjoy the mocktails that the bride and groom have chosen!
Can I bring a guest/date?
We unfortunately cannot accommodate additional guests due to limited capacity. We can only allow the individuals listed on your invitation.
Is the reception at the ceremony site?
Yes, the ceremony and reception will be held at the same venue. Our ceremony will be held outdoors, and the reception will be inside. We recommend umbrellas if the forecast looks rainy.
Can I bring my pet?
Only service animals will be allowed at the venue. Please do not bring pets or emotional support animals. If you get lucky, you might see some furry friends in the woods!
Can I carry at the venue?
Firearms are not allowed on the premises. Guests are prohibited from both open and concealed carrying. Security will be present at the event.
What should I wear?
The attire for our wedding is semi-formal. For ladies we recommend either a floor length or cocktail dress, and at least slacks and a button down for the men. Please refrain from wearing jeans and hats. The color scheme is lavender and light gray, but feel free to wear whatever colors you want as long as it is not white, cream or ivory!
What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
The ceremony will start at 5:30 pm, so we ask that guests arrive no later than 5:15. Early birds will get to enjoy live entertainment!
Can I take photos during the ceremony?
We kindly request an unplugged ceremony. Please turn off all devices and enjoy being fully present in the moment with us.
Will there be parking?
Yes! There will be a designated parking lot at the venue's entrance.
Where should I go when I arrive!
There will be signs directing you to the seating area for the outdoor ceremony. Don't worry, you can't miss them!
Will there be transportation to/from the wedding?
All wedding day events will take place on-site at Whispering Oaks. You will be responsible for your own transportation to and from the venue.
Can I share pictures of your big day on social media?
We kindly ask that you do not share any photos on social media of the wedding until either Harmony or Joshua has had the chance to do so first.
What do I do if I can't make it?
You will be dearly missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible by selecting "not attending" on your RSVP so we can plan accordingly. Thank you!
What's for dinner?
Ah, yes...the most important question! We have booked a BBQ restaurant to cater our wedding dinner! Meat options will include brisket, ribs, chicken, and sausage. Trust us, you will not leave hungry!
