Are there directions to the wedding venue from Southwest Austin?

From Southwest Austin: Take Slaughter Lane to I-35 South Head south on I-35 to TX-45 TOLL E toward TX-45-TL/TX-130-TOLL Take ramp onto TX-45-TOLL E toward TX-45-TOLL/TX-130-TOLL and go 6.1 miles Take the exit toward Lockhart/San Antonio onto TX-130-TOLLS S. Go 7.6 miles. Take exit 464 toward toward Schueclke Rd. onto US-183 S. Go 1.4 miles then turn RIGHT onto Schuelke Rd. Go 1.8 miles then turn LEFT onto Rolling Ridge Rd. Go .1 miles then turn RIGHT into the Two Wishes Ranch

Is there parking at the ranch?

Yes. There is plenty of parking at the ranch.

Can we stay in Lockhart instead of Austin?

You can! There are several VRBO/AirBnB and small town motel options in Lockhart if you prefer to be close to the venue. Please know if you decide to stay in Lockhart you will need to make your own transportation plans as we will not have shuttle service arrangements in Lockhart.

Is there anything to do in Lockhart?

Lockhart has arguably the best BBQ in the state of Texas so if you like beef, don't miss a plate from Kreuz or Black's BBQ. But whatever you do, DON'T ask for sauce!

I like the sound of BBQ but don't really want to stay in Lockhart. Can I find great BBQ in Austin?

You're in luck! Black's has a location near downtown Austin at 1003 Barton Springs Rd., Austin, TX 78704 World famous Franklins can be found at 900 E 11th St, Austin, TX 78702 And for a quick stop, try Rudy's Country Store & BBQ in southwest Austin at 2451 S Capital of Texas Hwy, Austin, TX 78746

What is there to do in Austin?

There are SO many fun things to do that you may wish you were in town for a week! Here are a few of our favorites:

-Play 18 or 36 holes at Peter Pan Golf located at Barton Springs Rd. and Lamar Blvd. This miniature golf course is 75 years old and is an Austin staple. BYOB!

-Rent a SUP from one of the places on the lake downtown and enjoy the skyline from the water.

-Go for a run on the Butler Hike and Bike trail that runs along the lake. If you do, look for the Hahn family brick at Lou Neff Point!

-Shop along 2nd street or South Congress. If you head to South Congress, stop at The Continental Club for some awesome live music or Jo's coffee shop for a pic at the famous "I love you so much" sign.

-Have a drink at the top of The Loren on Lamar Blvd when it's dark and take in the beauty of downtown at night.

-Visit the Bob Bullock museum where you can learn all about the story of Texas including a stop in the experiential theatre or IMAX.

-Go to the Blanton museum on the campus of UT for some amazing art on display.

-Visit the LBJ presidential library on the UT campus.

-If you're in town on 4/10, take in a baseball game at the Disch on MLK and I-35/

-Head up to the north side and see the ice cream museum in the Domain.

-Hike the stairs at Mount Bonnel for an amazing view.

-Make a reservation to see the Cathedral of Junk on the south side.

-Spend some time at the Ladybird Johnson Wildflower center and see all of the wildflowers in bloom!

-Go to the world headquarters of Whole Foods Market on 5th and Lamar and enjoy an amazing spread!

-Oh, and of course - go to the state Capital!
