Harper and Aaron met at Wicker Park Fest in July 2022 where they both attended The Happy Fits concert with their friends. When Harper arrived, Aaron caught her eye in the crowd from afar and she thought he was cute. As he walked away and she lost sight of him in the crowd, the last thing she expected was to cross paths with him later on. Towards the end of the concert, she felt a tap on her shoulder and when she turned around it was Aaron! As they got to know each other they learned they both have a love for scuba diving. The night continued on to swing dancing at Dorian’s making it the perfect unexpected first date. The following week, Aaron surprised Harper with dinner reservations at her favorite patio in the city, Piccolo Sogno, and they’ve been inseparable ever since.

Fast forward to Christmas 2023, Aaron and Harper traveled to Cozumel, Mexico for their first scuba diving trip together making it the perfect time and place to pop the question. He surprised her on the holiday knowing it was her first Christmas spent without her family so wanting to make it extra special as well as the first step to them becoming a family of their own.

They’re so excited to start the next phase of their life together and can’t wait to celebrate with you May, 31st 2025!
