Our Wedding

We met each other in a WRC Chemistry class in 2017 shortly after Anna's family moved to Indiana from Washington State. While it would be quite romantic to tell you that we spontaneously reacted with each other, that was not the case. We were inert for some time. During the rest of high school, we became friends primarily through theatre productions like&nbsp;Pride and Prejudice,&nbsp;Peter Pan, and&nbsp;Murder on the 605.&nbsp; Then in the fall of 2021, we both matriculated at Hillsdale College (Anna would like it to be known that she committed to Hillsdale first). We remained friends through the start of the fall semester. It was nice to have at least one person who we knew in this crazy new world! In November of 2021, we were both chosen to be officers in Hillsdale's Swing Dance Club, formalizing the dancing that we already liked to do as an official responsibility.&nbsp; Nothing else really happened for little while. In fact, we sort of ignored each other during the winter break of 2021. However, on February 9th, 2022, about three weeks into our second semester, Harrison asked Anna on a date while walking her back to her dorm, Olds. To the surprise of all parties involved, Anna said yes! Harrison then presented Anna with a choice: they could either go on a date before the President's Ball on Saturday, prom-like party event that Hillsdale hosts every year, or they could wait until Monday which happened to be Valentine's Day. Anna decided on the latter option as she wanted to spend President's Ball with her friends and was joyfully unconcerned with the pressure of having her first ever date on Valentine's Day. However, once President's Ball arrived, a pleasantly surprised Harrison found Anna by his side for a good portion of the evening. So, our first date happened on February 14th, 2022 and after about three weeks and a couple more dates, we decided to admit that we were officially dating. We continued to date and support one another in our Hillsdale ventures like Swing Club,&nbsp;The Hillsdale Forum, Adopt-A-Grandparent, Collegiate Scholars Program, and Niedfeldt dormitory. There were a couple strange phases like the times we dressed up as elves and a regency era couple. Then, in the fall of 2023, Anna decided that she had enough of Harrison and spend a semester in Washington DC. During this time, Harrison orchestrated a devious plan in which he surprised Anna in D.C. The video footage is incredible. We were both happy to be back together in the spring of 2024, although Harrison's studying for the MCAT limited the amount of time we could spend together.&nbsp; At the beginning of our senior year on September 14th, 2025, Anna's birthday, Harrison proposed. Anna did not see it coming because Harrison once again employed a devious plan that included a crack team of operatives including but not limited to Charlie Cheng with a camera in a ghillie suit, bridesmaid Laura Luke, and groomsman Brennan Slade. Anna said yes!&nbsp; We finished our senior years at Hillsdale while planning our wedding, interacting with medical schools, and trying to figure out everything we need for married life.&nbsp; After the wedding, we will move to Indianapolis where Harrison will attend Indiana University School of Medicine, and Anna will work as an administrative assistant in Greenfield.&nbsp;
