Our Wedding

It began with a walk – not theirs, but of two of their mutual friends on a quiet evening. As the friends walked, they talked about Harry and Tabu, and thought they could be a great couple. Thanks to that walk (and a little matchmaking spark),&nbsp; a love story neither Harry nor Tabu saw coming began to bloom. They had been around each other for quite some time at the same congregation – plenty of polite nods, but zero real conversations. It just never crossed their minds. But after that evening, something shifted. With a gentle nudge from family and friends, they agreed to talk. At first, they were cautious. They had totally misread each other – she thought he was kind of distant; he thought she might be a little proud. But then came a real conversation. And with it, came warmth. They started talking more often – then suddenly, every day. They spoke about life, hobbies, and goals. It wasn’t all serious either; they laughed, they joked – and slowly, gently, something tender began to take shape. Somewhere in those early conversations, it became clear to him: she was strong, steady, and someone he could build a life with. So, he told her how he felt. But she had been through her own battles. For her, love came with caution. Still, he stayed. He didn’t pull away. Instead, he loved her in the way he knew best – with quiet sincerity, with creativity, and with ink. Handwritten letters, thoughtful gestures, and little reminders that she mattered. And over time, something in her heart began to soften. Then one day, in a moment he’d been quietly hoping for, she told him she loved him too. Their bond deepened with each shared conversation, each quiet moment, each glimpse into the life they were beginning to build. They connected over the things that mattered most – faith, family, values. But it was more than just what they shared; it was what they brought into each other’s lives. She, with her eye for design and detail. He, with his knack for planning and bringing ideas to life. They felt they were, simply, better together. And then came the beach. It was late December – the air was crisp, the waves steady, and while she had a feeling something was coming, she didn’t know just how special it would be. With the ocean quietly watching, he asked her to spend forever with him. And with a smile that said it all, she said "yes". Since then, the journey has been steady and real. They’ve stumbled, made mistakes, said sorry, and kept growing. With Jehovah at the center of their life, they’re stepping into this new chapter – toward a joyful family life now, and the hope of something everlasting in His Kingdom.

How to Get to the Venue The venue is located near <a href="https://maps.app.goo.gl/Ccsx2AzizbRaLvhU8" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Rajakkad</a>, a humble yet bustling town nestled in the hills of Idukki. With National Highways 85 and 185, along with newly renovated connecting roads, the journey is now more convenient than ever. If you're traveling from the south—especially from Kollam or Trivandrum—the most comfortable route is via Adoor → Pathanamthitta → Kattappana → Nedumkandam → Rajakkad. From Kochi, the ideal route is through Kothamangalam → Adimali → Anachal → Rajakkad. The drive from Kollam to Rajakkad takes around 6 hours, and from Kochi, it's under 4 hours.

Things To Do Farm Visits: There are many places to visit and things to do, but the most authentic experience is visiting the farms of our dear brothers. You’ll get to witness firsthand the effort that goes into growing spices, raising livestock, and cultivating food crops.To arrange a farm visit the day after the wedding, please contact Br. Albin Tommy at +91 62825 10758. Jeep Safari: There are several vendors offering jeep safaris through the lush green landscapes of the forests and tourist attractions near Rajakkad. Places to Visit We are sure you’ll find more than enough on your plate to visit and experience near Rajakkad. Being a tourist centre and a town close to India’s popular destination, Munnar, you can easily plan a short getaway after the wedding celebrations. Here are some key place suggestions: 1. Kalimali View Point – Easy to reach, an excellent viewpoint especially for sunset, with the picturesque scenery of water at Ponmudi Dam and the hill ranges of Idukki. 2. Ponmudi Dam – Another easy-to-visit spot from Rajakkad, just a few minutes' drive away. It was also a shooting location for a few Malayalam films. There's a hanging bridge, lush forest walks, and another viewpoint—Nadukani Para View Point—in the vicinity. 3. Lockhart Gap View Point – You’ll need to travel a bit to reach here. It’s near Munnar and truly a marvel on its own. From here, you can see scenic views of valleys, high ranges, and tea plantations. 4. Kanakakunnu View Point – Another beautiful viewpoint near Rajakkad offering panoramic views of the surrounding hills and plantations. 5. Mullanthandu – A hilltop spot offering stunning views. You’ll need special jeeps to get there, so choose this if you’re up for a bit of off-road adventure. 6. Munnar – Of course, how can I not mention it! Just 28 km from Rajakkad, and the list of places to see in Munnar is a big one. You can pick your favourites—Mattupetty Dam, Kundala Dam and Lake, Munnar Top Station, tea plantations, tea museums, and more. And the list doesn’t end here!
