ROOTED IN FRIENDSHIP, BOUND BY LOVE

It all began in the summer of 2017 at Rochester Institute of Technology, where fate quietly wove its threads. Muniyath was just starting her journey, a first-year student in a summer program, while Hassan, a senior, was leading the very program she attended. What began as a chance encounter during those warm summer days quickly became something unforgettable. Two paths crossed in the most unexpected way. Little did they know that those first moments of laughter, bonding over being New Yorkers stuck in the brick-cold weather of Rochester, would mark the beginning of a story neither could have scripted. From funny conversations and endless competitive board games to shared tears from laughter, a bond began to grow, one that stood the test of time.&nbsp; Through detours, adventures, and countless small acts of care, this friendship turned into a love that grew quietly but deeply rooted in trust, intention, and unconditional support. Years later, after growing together through every joy and challenge, Hassan and Muniyath are ready to begin their forever &lt;3, cherishing the journey that brought them here and all the moments still to come.

Nikkah Day: 12:30 PM - 1:00 PM: Family and friends are coming in, and being seated in the aisles. 1:15 PM - 2:00 PM: Appetizers will be open for all to enjoy. Buffet style. 2:00 PM: Announcement to have everyone seated. 2:05 PM - 2:20 PM: Bride and Groom’s Entrance. 2:20 PM - 2:45 PM: Nikkah Ceremony commences. 3:00 - 3:30 PM: &nbsp;Pictures with Bride &amp; Groom (outside) 3:45 PM - 4:30 PM: Lunch is served. Buffet style. Pictures continued inside. 4:45&nbsp;PM: Desserts and Chai are served. Buffet style.&nbsp; 5:00 PM: Speeches. 5:30 PM: End of Nikkah ceremony.

Q: Where is the venue located?A: Atmosfera, 3801 23rd Ave, Astoria, NY, 11105 Q: Is parking available?A: There is no dedicated parking lot at the venue. Street parking is available, but we recommend arriving early to secure a spot. Nearby, you’ll also find options like Ditmars #1 Municipal Parking Field, which is about a 5–7 minute walk to the venue. If street parking is limited, we suggest the driver drop off family members at the entrance first, then park at one of the nearby lots. Q: What time should I arrive?A: The ceremony begins promptly at 1:00 PM, so we kindly ask our guests to arrive on time to enjoy the Nikkah program. Q: What is the dress code for the Akth/Nikkah?A: Dress Code: Formal Attire, feel free to wear elegant, traditional Desi outfits. 1. Traditional outfits like sarees, lehengas, or anarkalis in light fabrics (georgette, chiffon, silk blends).2. Traditional attire such as kurta-pajama or sherwani in neutral or pastel tones. Q: Is there a Mosque nearby for prayer?A: Yes, there are masjids nearby. However, there is also the Bridal Suite upstairs to pray. Prayer mats will be provided. 1. A Quick Note for Our Guests:This isn’t your typical venue, and that’s what makes it so special to us! Please note there is a short flight of stairs to reach the space, so plan accordingly. For parking, you’ll find street parking and nearby lot options within walking distance of the venue. We recommend arriving a little early to allow time for parking and settling in before the ceremony begins.
