Our story started with a childhood friendship. Despite life's changes leading us in different directions, destiny brought us back together. The immediate connection we felt upon reconnecting was unmistakable. What began with occasional messages soon developed into daily conversations and eventually became a regular routine of video calls. Missing a day of communication felt like missing a vital part of the day itself. You know how sometimes you meet someone and it feels like you've known each other forever? That's exactly how it was for both of us.

Through laughter, reminiscing about old times, and deepening understanding, our bond grew stronger which made us realize that we were meant for each other. This past January, we decided to meet in Qatar. That trip solidified what we already knew: we couldn't imagine being with anyone else. Without sounding too cliché, being together made all the stresses of life disappear and filled us with immense joy and happiness.

It was during our trip in Qatar that I decided not to waste anymore time and make things official by asking for Nour’s hand in marriage. Thankfully, both Nour and her family agreed, making me the luckiest man in the world. (Nour insists I mention that!)
