Matthew & Hattie went to elementary, middle, and high school together. Living 3 miles apart, the couple had always remained friends. September of their sophomore year of high school, Hattie asked Matthew to wear his football jersey to one of their games. Matthew agreed, and the two of them started chatting more and more every day. A month later on October 6th, 2018, Matthew and Hattie began their love story while dancing the night away at the Homecoming Dance. They rarely spent any time away from each other during high school. Matthew & Hattie both attended Iowa Central Community College following both their passions - rodeo & football. During their fourth summer of dating, Matthew popped the question on June 29th, 2022. Since Hattie always knew Matthew was the one, the wedding planning had already commenced, but now it was the real deal. Matthew & Hattie are so beyond excited to celebrate their friendship and love with their closest people!
