Hayden and Audree first crossed paths during the spring semester of 2023 in a quick interaction at the Student Union. Audree was having lunch with a friend who knew Hayden, and while their conversation was brief, it was long enough for Audree to notice him. As it turns out, Hayden had the same thought—but life moved on, and nothing happened at the time.

At the start of 2024, they ended up in the same Services Marketing class with Professor Jerry Rackley. A few weeks into the semester, mutual friends brought them to the same hangout, where they spent the evening talking and connecting. The next week in class, Hayden decided to sit next to Audree, sparking more conversations. After a few study sessions (that were more about spending time together than actual homework), they had their first date at Chick-fil-A. Not long after, they officially started dating.

That summer, they navigated a few months of long-distance, which helped solidify their relationship and commitment to each other. Through that time, they grew even closer and knew they wanted to build a future together.

Now, they’re excited to start the next chapter of their story and share their lives as husband and wife.
