Español: Hayden y Megan se conocieron por primera vez en octavo grado, pero no fue hasta décimo grado, mientras estaban en clase de historia, que se hicieron amigos. Para los grados once y doce ya se habían vuelto muy cercanos, y Hayden le pidió a Megan que fuera su novia en el verano después de que se graduaron de la prepa.

Ese otoño, tomaron caminos distintos: Hayden se fue a Texas Tech y Megan a Wellesley College, manteniendo su relación a distancia. En enero de 2016, sabiendo que su corazón estaba con Megan, Hayden se transfirió a una universidad en Boston. A partir de ahí, su relación se profundizó mientras atravesaban la universidad, el semestre de intercambio de Megan en Córdoba, España, y su graduación en 2019.

En julio de 2019, Megan se mudó a Denver por su primer trabajo después de la universidad. En Febrero de 2020 tras conseguir un puesto propio, Hayden se mudo a Denver tambien. Juntos exploraron el área de Denver y realizaron muchas caminatas mientras enfrentaban la pandemia y su primera experiencia viviendo juntos. En septiembre de 2021, regresaron a Boston y durante el primer año vivieron con Louis, el hermano de Megan.

El 1 de julio de 2022, alrededor del Lago Waban en Wellesley College, Hayden le propuso matrimonio a Megan. Siguieron viviendo juntos y fortaleciendo su relación hasta que se casaron en el Ayuntamiento de Boston el 5 de abril de 2024.

Más tarde ese mismo año, se mudaron de regreso a Dallas para estar más cerca de su familia y, en noviembre, compraron juntos su primer hogar en Old East Dallas.

Hayden y Megan han decidido tener una ceremonia y recepción para conmemorar su relación. ¡Esperamos verlos a todos allí!

English: Hayden and Megan first met in 8th grade, but it wasn’t until 10th grade, while sitting in history class, that they became friends. By 11th and 12th grade they had become close friends with Hayden asking Megan to be his girlfriend the summer after graduation.

That fall, they headed in different directions, Hayden to Texas Tech and Megan to Wellesley College, while continuing their relationship long distance. In January 2016, knowing his heart was with Megan, Hayden transferred to a college in Boston. From there, their relationship deepened as they navigated college, Megan’s semester abroad in Córdoba, Spain, and their graduation in 2019.

In July 2019, Megan moved to Denver for her first job after college. Hayden joined her in February 2020 after securing a position of his own. They explored the Denver area and went on plenty of hikes while navigating Covid and their first time living together. In September 2021, they moved back to Boston and for the first year back they lived with Megan’s brother, Louis.

On July 1, 2022, around Lake Waban at Wellesley College, Hayden proposed to Megan. They continued living and growing their relationship until they married at City Hall in Boston on April 5, 2024.

Later that year, they moved back to Dallas to be closer to family and, in November, they purchased their first home together in Old East Dallas.

Hayden and Megan have decided to hold a ceremony and reception to celebrate their relationship. We look forward to seeing you all there!!
