Where should I stay?

*If you are planning to stay, please book ASAP. There is a large fundraiser golf tournament this same weekend at Brudenell Golf Course* Brudenell River Resort has provided special rates for the wedding. We have reserved a block of rooms. Please see the following for pricing: Standard Room $131 Junior Suite $166 Executive Suite $184 King Cottage $204 King Cottage Waterside $234 Queen Cottage $284 Queen Cottage Waterside $314 Two Bedroom Cottage $399 Rates are subject to 15% HST. These rates are quoted per unit, per night, and are net non-commissionable. Rates are based on Single and/or Double Occupancy (Two Bedroom Cottage is based on up to Quad occupancy). Guestroom extra person charge is $10.00 per room, per night. 16 & Under stay free in the room.

What should I wear?

We want you to be comfortable at our wedding. The dress code is dressy casual attire. Please see the following for examples. Women: dress of any length, jumpsuit, dress pants/shirt, maxi skirt/shirt. Men: dress or golf shirt with khaki or other pants - jackets and ties are optional. This will be an outdoor ceremony - please dress accordingly.

Can I bring a plus one?

Our wishes are to have an intimately sized ceremony and reception. Your invitation will specify if you have been allocated a plus one. If you have not been provided with a plus one and you wish to bring a partner - please let us know.

Can I bring my children?

We wish we could include all children. However, we will only be inviting our immediate nieces and nephews, as well as the children in our wedding party. We hope that you understand.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Please arrive 15-20 minutes prior to accommodate for seating arrangements.

Where is the ceremony?

Plan A: Outdoor ceremony on the lawn bowling green beside the hotel. Plan B: Indoor ceremony in the hotel if the weather is not cooperative.

Can I take photos?

The ceremony will be unplugged. However, please take photos outside of this! We will have a QR code to upload all of your photos and a 360 photo booth. We can't wait to see all of your pictures!

I have allergies and/or dietary restrictions. What should I expect?

We will be serving a fully gluten and dairy free turkey dinner. Vegan and/or vegetarian substitutions will be made. There will be a dessert buffet, which will include a vegan, gluten-free carrot cake. A late night poutine bar will also be served, unfortunately this cannot be guaranteed to be gluten free due to cross contamination with the fryers.

Will there be an open bar?

Unfortunately there will not be an open bar. However, we will be hosting trivia throughout the reception for your chance to win a free drink ticket!

I have mobility challenges. What can I expect?

The Brudenell River Golf and Conference Center entrance is wheelchair accessible, as well as their washrooms. There will be golf cart shuttles from the ceremony venue to the reception venue for those who need them.
