Thomas "Tommy" and Katie have known each other since the Westridge Elementary days, but it wasn't until working at Holmes Murphy post grad that they became great friends. Tommy has been a constant in Katie's life since 2016 through numerous happy hours, weekends spent at the lake, and concerts. There is no one else Katie would have stand next to her on her big day!

Joey is Hayden's little sister who still lives in Minneapolis. Growing up, the sisters spent a lot of time travelling, playing outside, and sharing a love of soccer. You could often find Hayden bossing Joey around and calling her names. As adults, Joey has become Hayden's go to person for advice, vent sessions, and support. Hayden couldn't imagine a better person to serve as her Maid of Honor.

Molly and Katie became fast friends while living in the Alpha Phi house together at UNI. Through college and adulthood, Molly has been Katie's go to road trip buddy to visit other college friends across the Midwest. Their time together always consists of endless banter, inside jokes, and jamming to old "Emo" music from their teenage years. Katie can't wait to share this day with Molly by her side!

Allie is one of Hayden’s closest friends from ISU. They grew their friendship after Allie reached out over Facebook when she found Hayden’s ID that she had left at Subway the night prior. Allie’s humor compliments Hayden’s weirdness, and they have bonded over their love for the Iowa State Cyclones, good craft beer and Allie’s two kiddos, Adam and Amelia. Allie has been Hayden’s rock, and Hayden is so thankful for her support on this big day!

Leslie and Katie also became friends during their time in Alpha Phi. While Leslie never lived in the house, she spent the majority of her time with the "House Girls." Katie and Leslie lived together for 2 years, including a summer in Cedar Falls where they spent every afternoon golfing. While Leslie still lives in Cedar Falls, they have remained great friends and even have matching tattoos. Katie has become an honorary Peyton over the years and loves getting together with them when Leslie is in Des Moines.

Mandy is one of Hayden’s closest friends from Iowa State. They met after seeing each others matching insulin pumps from across the bar. After college, Mandy and Hayden shared many memories as co-counselors at diabetes camp, countless trips to/from SW Iowa & Minneapolis, a trip to Colorado, and music festivals. Hayden couldn’t imagine not having her diabesite (diabetic best friend) stand by her side on this special day!

Taylor and Katie became friends when they shared a room in the Alpha Phi house. They quickly bonded over their love of trash tv including Dance Moms and Teen Mom. The memories and inside jokes created in that room are still alive a decade later when they get together. Hotz has been a great support system for Katie through the years, so they are looking forward to her help on the big day!

Emma was the 3rd roommate in the Alpha Phi house with Katie & Taylor. You can imagine Katie was nervous to room with her when the first thing Emma moved in were her hot pink Uggs. Thankfully, they had more in common than not including a love of Pancheros and McDonalds French fries. Emma now lives 5 hours away in Wichita, KS but has been one of Katie’s rocks the last 10 years.

Ally, better known as "SweenDawg", is one of Katie's college roommates and closest friends. Ally has been a consistent through Katie's life, so it's no surprise she's been one of the biggest supporters of Katie & Hayden. Not only is she extremely funny and bubbly, she has a heart of gold, making her the perfect person to officiate our wedding! We absolutely adore her, and can't wait to see her in her new role as an ordained officiant!

The sweetest kiddos with a busier social calendar than most adults! They enjoy cheer, volleyball, swimming, basketball, and playing guitar.
