Ben and Haylee were in the Pride of Dayton Marching Band together their sophomore year of college and didn't know it yet! It was not until Ben reached out to Haylee via snapchat right before a global pandemic swept the nation to ask her out. They went on a walk at Charleston Falls Preserve in Tipp City, Ohio. After many months of going on dates, Haylee decided to give Ben a chance and it ended up being her best decision yet!

Their first date was on July 21st, 2020 at Carillon Historical Park where they shared their first kiss. Ben knew almost right away that this would be the woman he would spend the rest of his life with, Haylee on the other hand, did not know this until about three or four months into their relationship. Haylee's family fell in love with Ben. Haylee knew he was for sure a keeper when she got her Grandma Hunt's approval before she passed away on December 4th, 2020. Ben's family also knew Haylee was a keeper. They consistently remind her how grateful they are that Ben met her. It was becoming extremely obvious that Ben and Haylee were best friends with their alike personalities and sense of humors. They decided to move in together September 18th, 2022. It would not be until March 12th, 2023 at Cox Arboretum when Ben popped the question. They are extremely excited to start their lives together!
