FAQ

Are Kids Allowed at the Wedding?

While we would love to be able to accommodate everyone, we have had to decide what is best for our special day. We have decided that we will not be having children at the wedding except for really close family members of the bride and groom. If you have any questions or concerns about childcare issues, please feel free to reach out to us and we can try to figure something out. We do not want this to deter your decision to attend our big day.

Where Should We Stay?

We do have a block of rooms at the Tundra Lodge Resort for the weekend of our wedding, and that would be our first recommendation for people coming into town as that is where our reception is located and it'll be the most convenient spot for people to stay. We also have a block of rooms reserved at nearby hotels, please reference the "Guest Accommodations" tab for more information. If you want to look into Airbnb's or other hotels, we recommend being as close to the Tundra Lodge or Lambeau Field as you can get, so you are near the action!

Will There Be an Open Bar?

While we hope the answer to this question wouldn't be why you choose to come or not, we are happy to inform everyone we will be having an open bar during the cocktail hour (from 5 o'clock to 6 o'clock in the evening), and an open selection of beer, wine, champagne after the cocktail hour and throughout the remainder of the reception.

What is There To Do?

Please refer to the "Things to Do" section of our website for more specific ideas of things to fill your time in the area. Since our wedding is over a holiday weekend, we recommend everyone arrive into town Friday evening or early Saturday if possible. Take advantage of touring the Botanical Gardens on the day of our ceremony as guest admission is free if you attend our wedding. You will have approximately 2 hours between the ceremony ending and the cocktail hour beginning at the Tundra Lodge Grand Ballroom, so use this time to tour the gardens and make your way over to the reception so you don't miss out on that free cocktail hour.

Also, please do plan to attend the welcome party on Saturday evening and the farewell lunch on Monday morning! We want to spend as much time with our guests as possible, not just on wedding day!
