It was October of 2017, GRiZ was in Milwaukee, and there was no way either of us were going to miss this concert. We met through our mutual bestie Erika that night and hit it off immediately. After a few (short) months of constant communication and weekly visits, Haylee moved down to Illinois to really give the relationship a shot and the rest is history.

Throughout the last 6+ years we have shared so many great memories together from our time in Illinois, getting our 2nd cat, moving back to and exploring Wisconsin, getting engaged and all that came in between.

Michael (finally!!) proposed in July of 2021, with the help of our first cat Bubbs. Michael placed the ring on his collar and the second Haylee saw Bubbs run up to her she immediately ugly cried before she could make out any type of "Yes!"

We cannot wait to celebrate with everyone at our reception in September! See you soon 😊
