Our Wedding

Paul and Hayley’s story began in late July 2024, when they first met while preparing for the new school year as colleagues. Both were excited to teach band together—Paul as the head band director and Hayley as his assistant. From the moment they started working together, they felt an instant connection, spending all their free time together as they bonded over their shared love for music and teaching. Before long, it became clear they were meant to be more than just coworkers. On August 31, 2024, after a day spent helping Paul settle into his new home in West Virginia, they took the leap and started dating, keeping their relationship a secret from their students for the entire school year, despite their curious questions. In April 2025, Paul asked Hayley’s parents for their blessing, and with their approval, he proposed on June 8, 2025, surrounded by family after the last day of school. Now, they are excited to continue their journey to marriage, with their wedding date set for August 8, 2026.
