Hayley and Justin met in high school. They were friends, but lost touch after graduation. The two reconnected in 2016 and rekindled their friendship. After Justin visited Hayley in Fort Myers a few times, the two realized there was something more than friendship between them.

Justin and Hayley spent almost a year getting to know each other. They took trips, went to baseball games, saw concerts, and spent a lot of time on FaceTime. On March 9, 2019, while on a trip to Cancun, Mexico Justin told Hayley that he loved her for the first time. That date marks the official beginning of their relationship.

For their one year anniversary Justin and Hayley took a trip to Europe. They spent 10 days in Barcelona and Paris. Upon their return they decided to move in together and got an apartment in Orlando.

In July of 2020, the couple purchased their first home together. They moved to Melbourne because Justin had a job opportunity that required a relocation. The couple was “temporarily” fostering Hayley’s parents dogs (Thor and Magnum), while they were building their own home. They decided they could not let go of the pups and now Thor and Magnum live with Hayley, Justin and Brody.

On November 15, 2020 at 6:30 am on the morning of her 26th birthday, Justin woke Hayley up and asked her to come into the living room. When she came out Justin proposed to her with the help of Thor, Magnum, and Brody. Later that night he surprised her with a dinner at Fleming’s, which he invited all of her closest friends and family to. The couple look forward to saying “I do” in 2022.
