On September 15, 2016 Hayley and Philip met at the classiest bar on sixth street in Austin at a mixer between Hayley's sorority, Kappa Delta, and Philip's spirit group, Texas Wranglers. They immediately became smitten with each other and began officially dating on October 29, 2016. Philip and Hayley's relationship turned long distance after Philip graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in May 2017 and moved to Ridgecrest, California to work for the United States Navy as a civilian. Philip then joined the United States Air Force and began pilot training in Columbus, Mississippi in March 2019. Hayley went to visit Philip in Mississippi in June 2019. The seemingly normal trip turned into them getting legally married on June 25, 2019. The 2 minute long wedding ceremony with only 1 friend there was hardly the celebration either one of them imagined, so they decided to plan a "real" wedding in order to read vows to each other and celebrate with friends and family. Even though they were already married, Philip hadn't proposed yet. In the most untraditional order of events, Philip proposed in Austin on August 31, 2019. Hayley finished her degree at the University of Texas at Austin in December 2019 and moved to Mississippi to live with Philip in January 2020. They currently spend their time gardening, playing games, doing puzzles, and hanging out with friends. Philip and Hayley have been planning the wedding day for almost 2 years now and are so excited to share this special day with all of you.
