Hayley and Spencer met each other back in 2019....but it was NOT love at first sight.

They met when they were both store managers, and right off the bat, they did not get along. Hayley thought Spencer was too opinionated and headstrong. Spencer thought that Hayley was bossy and outspoken.

Little did they know, that four years later, they would fall in love.

It took being thrown closer together at work for them to realize that the line between love and hate is very thin.

Their first connection was over Snoqualmie Pass, where Hayley has taught skiing for 10 years, and Spencer had been snowboarding at for the past 3. They quickly became friends and after Noelle suggested they would be good together, Hayley starter her pursuit.

Hayley would make up excuses to go see Spencer, and began developing quite the crush. After 4 months of continued friendship, Spencer finally started picking up on the hints, and after a failed attempt to see the Aurora Borealis, but a very successful first date, they decided to give it a shot.

Both knew pretty quickly that the feelings they had for one another were different. It wasn't too long after that they knew that they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together.

Combining their family has not been easy. Oliver the cat captured Spencer's heart when he was found in a dumpster outside Spencer's apartment many years ago, and Hayley's dog Max has been her best bud and companion through some very trying years. And unfortunately, Max and Oliver, don't get along. But they all figured out a way to coexist, and have become stronger for it. Just like Hayley and Spencer overcame their dislike for each other, they are patiently awaiting the day when their animals will also overcome their issues and learn to like each other.

Hayley and Spencer look forward to blending their two families, and welcoming new fur babies, and eventually the non fur ones.
