While our wedding is before Labour Day, please do not wear white. Or else… While we can’t predict the weather (to Hayley’s demise), we can say that late June in BC can be pretty warm. Our wedding festivities will be taking place outside, on grass and gravel, so ladies, please wear appropriate footwear! Dancing shoes are required. While we love our comfort-wear, we would appreciate no jeans, baseball caps, or cargo shorts at our wedding. Your best summer formal attire that you can bring your best dance moves in is greatly appreciated.

We love your kids, but thought you’d might like a night off. To allow all of our wedding guests, specifically parents, a night of relaxation and uninhibited revelry, we respectfully ask that no children under the age of 17 attend the wedding festivities on Saturday June 28th. We thank you for your understanding.

We kindly ask that smoking is ONLY in the designated smoking area on the property. We have been strongly warned about the strict less of the fire Marshall on Salt Spring Island and we must follow all rules set out by the venue hosts. We thank you in advance for complying with the rules.

While we love that you want to remember our day through pictures and videos, we are having an unplugged ceremony. Our photographer is the best of the best and we know they will get all of the pictures you want. We ask that you please be present with us during the ceremony and wait until cocktail hour to take pictures and videos.

We will be setting up a Google Drive for pictures and videos for guests to share with us and others. This will also allow Tyler and I to see all of the action from our guests point of view. We want to see all the good, bad, and hilarious videos, but please keep in mind that these photos will be shared with family of all ages.
