On March 11th 2019, Johnnie visited Hanoi to see his friend (Andrew), who happened to be in the hospital... There, he met somebody he did not expect. That somebody was... Hoang Anh, whom he later named 'Haylie'.

After having a long conversation over lunch near the hospital, Johnnie paid for lunch and then parted ways. Sadly, though, he didn't ask for Haylie's contact to keep in touch. (What a jerk!)

Later, Haylie wanted to show her appreciation, so she expressed her gratitude to Johnnie through Andrew. However, Andrew sent Johnnie's contact to her instead and told her to thank him herself.

And that's how they got each other's contact... Yet they never talked :)))))

Five years later, out of the blue, Johnnie reached out to Haylie on Zalo because he wanted to ask her for a friend (Brad) about work.

As Johnnie's interest grew, they chatted more often, which led to the beginning of their long-distance relationship...
