104 Days To Go!
We were connected on Facebook long before we ever spoke—tied together through mutual friends, like fate was quietly laying the groundwork.
But everything truly began one ordinary day in August 2024, when Garrett saw me active on Messenger and said to himself “yep - she’s the one I’m going to marry someday.” (Bold claim for someone who hadn’t even taken me to dinner yet.)
He wasted no time asking me on a date—scheduled for the very next day. We planned dinner and a movie, but our first date didn’t quite go as expected. I was suddenly called into work and had to leave early. I was fully convinced I had ruined everything. Instead, he surprised me once again—and we began planning our second date almost immediately.
From the very beginning, everything felt effortless. We shared the same values, the same outlook on life, and conversation flowed as if we’d known each other forever. The connection was instant, undeniable, and impossible to ignore. It quickly became clear that we didn’t just enjoy each other— we had been waiting our whole lives to find each other.
Blending our lives together felt almost effortless, as if we’d always been meant to walk the same path.
On October 9, 2025, Garrett suggested we take the dogs down to the river at the farm for a swim. Nothing out of the ordinary—until I noticed his phone carefully propped on a rock. In that moment, my heart knew before my mind could catch up. What followed was the most magical moment of my life.
After he proposed, Garrett shared something that made that moment even more meaningful. Before bringing me to the river, he had gone there alone, set up his phone, and prayed—asking my late father for his blessing to marry me. In that instant, I knew with complete certainty that I had chosen not only the love of my life, but the very best life partner I could have ever hoped for.
These days, we’re living our happiest days on the farm. Between our three dogs, a cat and hundreds of cows - our days are anything but slow. We wouldn’t have it any other way.
We can’t wait to say “I do” and start the next chapter of our life together—building dreams, growing our family, and making memories that last a lifetime. We’re so excited to celebrate with all of you, the people we love most.
