Heath & Sara's story goes back almost 20 years! They met years ago working together at Carrabba's Italian Grill. Their relationship started as friends for a very long time. They mostly hung out together as co-workers with their peers. Despite having a few chances to move out of the friend zone, things just never really progressed past a friendship. At one point, Heath even moved into Sara's home as a roommate, but things still remained plutonic. Heath got to know Mattie at this time as well. The scenario ran it's course and both Heath and Sara moved on with their lives and lost touch. Little did Sara know that Heath had a crush on her all those years ago.
Then one day, years later, a mutual friend asked both Heath and Sara to come hang out at a bar for karaoke. Once Heath found out that Sara was single again, he didn't waste any chances. They started to hang out and almost immediately started dating. Everything just seemed natural as things moved quicker than usual. Sara ended up selling her home in Surprise and moved into a home in Anthem with Heath. They then became a blended family of 7 with Sara's 4 kids and Heath's daughter.
Over the next 12 years they knew they wanted to get married much sooner, but with five kids, finances were typically used for the kids' childhood. Heath and Sara thought that was more important since the children are the center of their very busy world. Their lives consisted of sports and the performing arts. They wouldn't have it any other way!
Finally, Heath was able to afford the ring he felt Sara deserved. He was even able to plan an entire Vegas vacation to see her favorite band, Aerosmith. He managed to get tickets to be on the stage for the concert. He hid the ring box the entire time and Sara had no clue until he surprised her with the ring during her favorite love song, "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing". They even have it on video!!!
It took some time to plan and get the wedding going, but they found the perfect venue for all of their friends & family so it's time to enjoy the party!! They can't wait to say, "I do" with ALL OF YOU!!
