Can I bring a date?
You will note on our website whether you can bring a date when you go to RSVP. Otherwise, we kindly ask that you attend unaccompanied.
Are children allowed to attend?
While we love your children, we have decided to make our wedding a child-free event. Thank you for your understanding!
Where do we check in if staying at Historic Inns of Annapolis?
The Historic Inns of Annapolis is comprised of three different buildings - Maryland Inn, Governor Calvert House and Robert Johnson House. They are all within a block of each other. Everyone staying at Historic Inns will be checking in at Governor Calvert House. Please pay attention to the specific hotel outlined in your reservation. Most guests will be staying at The Maryland Inn, but depending on the total number, you may be in the Governor Calvert House or Robert Johnson House.
Parking for hotel
Those staying at Historic Inns of Annapolis can either choose to do valet parking, find parking on the street (will most likely have to pay), or park in the Calvert Street garage (19 St Johns St) where parking is free in the evenings and on the weekends. The garage is a 5-10 minute walk from the hotels, and since the hotels are so central, you will most likely only need your car when driving home.
Parking for Ceremony and Reception
St. Mary's and Historic London Town have large parking lots for your convenience if you plan to drive. Following the ceremony, you will not be able to leave your car at St. Mary's, and following the reception, you will not be able to leave your car overnight at Historic London Town.
Where will the shuttle for the reception pick up and drop off guests from Historic Inns of Annapolis?
The shuttle will be picking up and dropping off guests on Duke of Gloucester Street outside The Maryland Inn.
Is there an afterparty?
For those down to keep the party going after the reception ends at 10 PM, we will go to O'Brien's Oyster Bar, which is a short walk from the hotels on Main Street, for more dancing and fun!
Do you mind if we take photos during the ceremony/reception?
Please refrain from using your phone to take any pictures during the ceremony and certain parts of our reception. We have invested in hiring incredible photographers who will be capturing these special moments for us and the last thing we want is a sea of phones in the background of our wedding photos. While we appreciate that the intention is always good, we beg you to put those phones away.
