Our Love Story

In October 2022, fate worked its magic in the most modern way—on Facebook Dating. I was living in Washington State with my daughter, and he was all the way in Texas. Two different worlds, thousands of miles apart, but somehow the right swipe at the right time brought us together.

From the very first conversation, there was something different. Something real. We talked for hours like we had known each other for years. He made me laugh, made me feel heard, and most of all, made me feel seen.

In February 2023, we finally met in person—and every message, every call, every video chat instantly became worth it. That visit only confirmed what we already suspected: this wasn’t just a connection, it was the beginning of forever.

By May 2023, my daughter and I made the big move to Texas to be with him. Our little family was starting to take shape. In November, we found our own place—our first home together, filled with love, and laughter.

On January 15, 2025, he asked me to marry him—and I said yes to my best friend, my partner, my safe place. Just six days later, our daughter was born, making our growing family feel even more complete.

And on April 10, 2025, we decided to go to the courthouse just us and our girls.

Our journey hasn’t been traditional, but it’s been ours—real, beautiful, and built on love, trust, and a little faith across the miles.
