Nearly seven years ago, Jacob and I met through a mutual friend in the bowling community. Of course, that was after his dad saw some girl from Calera listed on a tournament roster and wondered why they had never heard of her. Then they realized I was friends with Katie, who was on the Thompson bowling team with Jacob at the time. She introduced us and the rest is history! We have gone on so many amazing adventures together, loved each other throughout all the wonderful highs, and strengthened our love even more throughout the lows. Almost six years into dating, Jacob proposed at the most beautiful cabin in the Great Smoky Mountains! Now, we are about to get married at our dream venue, surrounded by our loved ones, and we could not be more excited! “Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude.
