Our best recommendation is to try to stay awake during the day and plan perhaps a walk around Circular Quay (pronounced "key") where the opera house and Harbour bridge. You can even catch a ferry from here using your Opal card you used on the train

The easiest way to get to where you're staying when you land in Sydney is via train from the airport. The trains are on lower levels and you can buy an Opal Card and top it up before going onto the platform. Renting a car is a great option if you want to see some of the best parts of Australia. For some of you, it might be driving on the opposite side of the road so please familiarise yourself with driving laws in NSW (especially about round abouts). You will need a toll tag and insurance.
