Our Story
The Story of Us
Like so many modern romances, ours began with a right swipe on Hinge, proof that algorithms occasionally know what they’re doing. After some clever banter and a few dad-joke-level puns, we decided to meet in person. Our first date was at Albarino in Red Bank, where Greg (ever the planner) made dinner reservations for 5 p.m. on a Sunday. The restaurant was completely empty, which made things only slightly awkward, but also kind of perfect. We ended up laughing about it the entire night, and pretty much haven’t stopped since.
From there, things just clicked. Between our shared love of football, cooking, and our dogs, we quickly realized we’d found our person. We’re both thoughtful, caring, family oriented and total smartasses, which means life together is full of teasing, inside jokes, and a healthy dose of sarcasm.
Somehow, amidst all the chaos of work, game days, and dog walks, we built something that feels easy, the kind of love that sneaks up on you when you’re too busy laughing to notice it’s happening.
Now, here we are, ready to celebrate the next chapter, surrounded by the people (and Janie & Lucy) who’ve been part of our story from the start!

Grand Victorian - Spring Lake
Located within a few steps of Spring Lake Beach, Grand Victorian an ICONA Boutique Collection has rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom. The property provides a garden and a bar. All rooms in the hotel are equipped with a flat-screen TV. The rooms have a private bathroom with a shower, free toiletries and a hairdryer. Newark Liberty International Airport is 47 miles away.

The Hewitt Wellington Hotel
Wedding Room Block Available! A 10 room block has been reserved for the Dayton-Salvaggio wedding for the night of Friday April 3rd. Located in Spring Lake, this boutique hotel features an on-site restaurant and a 6 minute walk from the beach. Dinner is served on site at Whispers fine dining restaurant.
Chateau Inn and Suites
This hotel does not have a room block available, however they do have a room bookings available. They are located about 1.5 miles from the venue and a quick 5 Minute drive! They are booking up quickly due to it being Easter weekend, so try and book sooner rather than later if this is your desired accommodation! Room rates start at $179/night. *There may be a minimum for booking depending on the room type.
Things to Do
Scone Pony
The Scone Pony is a secret local favorite stop. They have famous variety of Scones, an array of Pastries, Danish, Crumb Cake, Cookies, Pies and Cakes. There is no indoor seating, only some small tables outside so more of a to go spot. They are located in right off the main street in Spring Lake so if you are looking to walk down main street and explore the local boutiques and businesses, this is a great stop! They open at 8:00 AM and close at 3:00 PM.
Batch.
Heather & Greg's favorite local coffee shop! Located on Main Street in Manasquan, this viral coffee shop is just a short walk from where Heather & Greg live. With great classic coffees, specialties and baked goods to their locally sourced products, this is a must stop!
Buoy's
Buoy's is one of Heather and Greg's favorite restaurants around! Not only do they serve up some of the best breakfast and lunch sandwiches around, they also have a fine dining experience (Buoy's by Night). An unknown 5 course meal experience like no other. Its BYOB and a pre-fix menu. While breakfast and lunch can be easily ordered on their website through Toast Tab, dinner reservations can be tricky via the resy app. If you are looking for this, let Heather or Greg know at least a month in advanced for help! The Chicken Caesar wrap is a must have!
Nick + Sons Bakery
Nick + Sons bakery is located right in Spring Lake and offers a wider variety of pastries and breads. They also have coffee and cold brew. Open from 7:00 AM - 2:00 PM.
Honey Berry Cafe
Honey Berry Cafe is a classic breakfast and lunch spot located in Spring Lake. They are open from 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Hatch44 Cafe
If you are looking for an interesting breakfast and lunch menu, look no further than Hatch, located in Bradley Beach. With a twist on the classics and a coffee bar, Hatch 44 is a must go!
Leggetts Sand Bar
Leggets Sand Bar may sound like a summer only spot, but it is a local favorite all year round! Saturday afternoons even feature Bingo games and a great playlist!
Icarus Brewing Company
A stop of the local Jersey Shore Brewery tour (As per Greg) Is Icarus Brewing company located about 15 minutes south of the venue. A wide variety of brews and a large location with both indoor and outdoor seat options.
Beach Haus Brewery
A stop of the Jersey Shore Brewery tour (As per Greg) is none other than Beach Haus Brewery. While Greg spends his summer weekends here bartending on the rooftop, the 2nd floor tap room has a ton of seating, games and a balcony view of downtown Belmar.
Bakes Brewing Co
Bakes Brewing is anther stop on the Jersey Shore Brewery tour (As per Greg). Located in Belmar, they have a great selection of brews for everyone!
Brook 35 & West
If your looking for a greta place to go shopping, Brook 35 Plaza has a great selection of stores, food and a Starbucks!
Capri Collectives
On Heather's shopping tour, Capri Collectives in downtown Manasquan is a mist visit! Chic but functional pieces, and amazing accessories!

Katherine's always has something! From comfy pieces, to staple pieces to great jeans and shoes! Katherine's is a must stop on Main Street in Manasquan, NJ!
