Do you have hotel blocks?

We will! The bride & groom will be staying at the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Golf Resort. We will also have a block at the Holiday Inn Express Cambridge, MD. If you want to review the hotels and access the block codes navigate to the "Travel" tab for hotel details.

Will there be shuttles from the hotel?

Yes! We will have 2 running shuttles: Holiday Inn - 3:15pm Hyatt: 3:30pm, 4:00pm (Please try to reserve the 4:00pm for those checking into the hotel on Saturday)

Are the ceremony and reception in the same location?

Yes! We ask that guests arrive no later than 4:15pm. We will have the ceremony outside on the back patio of the Barn, the cocktail hour outside on the side patio, and the reception will be inside the Barn.

Why aren't my children invited?

As teachers, we love kids! We just want their adults to have kid-free fun at our wedding. The only under 18 guests who will attend the wedding are those in the wedding party.

Can I bring a plus one?

Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our celebration is strictly RSVP only. If you have a plus one they will be listed as a guest on your invitation.

What is the dress code?

Semi-Formal, Shawn and his boys will be in black tuxes with ties and Heather's girls will be in floor-length black dresses. Dress in whatever makes you want to stay on the dance floor!

If we drive, where can we park?

There is ample parking at the venue, but cars need to be picked up by 9am on Sunday.

What type of food and drink will be served during the cocktail hour and reception?

There will be an open bar, complete with the signature Maryland "Orange Crush." We'll be serving light passed hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour, followed by a two-course plated dinner and dessert table. Be sure to RSVP with your meal choice & dietary restrictions/allergies!
