It all started through a mutual friend—one of those connections that doesn’t seem so significant at first but ends up changing everything. A few weeks later, fate stepped in when seeing each other in the Emergency Room while on shift. I made a point to introduce myself. We started talking, and it was like we had known each other forever. There was an easy chemistry between us—something that felt both comforting and exciting.

It turned out that we had a lot more in common than I expected. We both did not think our relationship would last long. But we continued to talk about everything—from our craziest shifts to our childhood memories—and before long, we realized that what started as a casual friendship had blossomed into something more.

Now, looking back, it’s funny how our relationship began in the most “workplace” of settings—emergency situations, patients, and the constant rush. But in the middle of all that chaos, we found something calm, something real. We push each other to be the best versions of ourselves. I wouldn’t ask for anything better.
