1. What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Guests can begin arriving at 3:45 p.m. The ceremony will take place in the white chapel closest to the parking lot.

2. What is the dress code?

Semi-Formal Attire - This wedding dress code is a step up from dressy casual attire, but not quite as bold as cocktail attire or as fancy as formal attire (i.e. black tie and black tie optional). When dressing for a semi-formal wedding, aim for understated and elegant looks—think streamlined blazers, dress shirts, pantsuits, midi dresses, and simple accessories. Classic hues, like navy blue, olive green, and black, are some of our favorite go-to colors for semi-formal attire.

3. Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony will take place indoors and there will be indoor and outdoor areas for cocktail hour and the reception.

4. What will the weather be like?

The average temperature in Clarksburg, Maryland, in April is 65/42 degrees F. There will be both indoor and outdoor areas during the reception. The reception hall is located next to the chapel where the ceremony is taking place so in the event of April showers, guest will only need to walk a short distance (~50ft.) from their car to the ceremony and reception areas.

Dinner will be served shortly after 6, with the goal of getting everyone on the dance floor by 7:30. The reception will end at 9:00 p.m.
