We met as Bumble Bees, yes the Bumble app! Heather was Nick's first date on the app, and our first date was 09/01/2019 at the Woodstock fair in Woodstock, CT! Nick and Heather spent the night walking and talking around the fair bonding over the farm animals and laughing over the unique fried fair food only New England offers. Who knew it would all begin with an app and a local fair date!

Christmas 2019, Nick visited Humboldt County, CA for the first time, and he met Heather's parents! It was his first of many trips to the West Coast. It was a big step in our relationship, and it was on this trip we officially said "I love you" for the first time.

In the heat of the pandemic, we escaped to Northern New England to Acadia National Park on a week long trip from the finger lakes in NY to Mount Washington in NH to Bar Harbor, ME!
