Founded in 1908, as Oklahoma's first "resort town", Medicine Park is tourist-y in its own way. There are many unique lodging options. Grab a scoop of ice cream at Cobblestone Creamery, a frozen marg at Nice Ice Baby, or a southern comfort meal at the Old Plantation. It is a beautiful place to take a walk & soak in the atmosphere. & it's extra close to the wedding venue! Visit https://medicinepark.com/ for more information.
Explore the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge- go fishing, hiking, sightseeing, or for a relaxing drive - Heather recommends blasting anything by Fleetwood Mac for the vibes. Go to Meers for a bison burger. For a gorgeous view of Lake Lawtonka, hike or drive to the top of Mt. Scott (p.s. this is where Heather's parents got engaged in 1981). Visit the Parallel Forest. If you see any longhorn & buffalo, pull over & take a picture from the safety of your car- they are not large, grass puppies.
