Our Wedding

Heather and Jason first met in the Summer of 2019 at their gym, Kim Barbell. Fast forward to their first date where they tried to make an at-home ice bath (it failed miserably, and they got bit by a lot of mosquitos) and watched Stranger Things. At the end of the date, they both felt butterflies and knew something exciting was waiting around the corner. COVID definitely made things interesting by accelerating the move in part of their relationship, Jason and Heather endured lockdown together. They spent the time playing Brooklyn 99 drinking games, sneaking into the gym (when they weren’t supposed to), having slow mornings on the patio, and spending time with their friends that became short-term roomies. Over the years Heather and Jason enjoyed traveling together to new cities, trying new coffee shops and restaurants, catching baseball games, adding members to their family (shout out to Stache and Cash), supporting each other in their careers (including leaving Texas to try out the PNW) and their sport, and making lasting memories with those closest to them. In September 2023, Jason proposed to Heather in a hot air balloon overlooking Mount Rainer. Jason was in tears as he told her he loved her and asked her to marry him while she was in shock and blacked out from the surprise. Somehow, she was lucid enough to say, yes! And now here you are reading their love story and preparing to join them on their special day. Heather and Jason are both so grateful to you, their family, for your love and support, and can't wait to celebrate the wedding with you soon!

Great hotel option super close to the venue and walking distance to wineries in Woodinville! Unfortunately, we were unable to get room block pricing here, but it's still a great hotel option if your budget allows!

Willows Lodge

We will have shuttle transportation from the venue to both the Lotte Hotel and Hyatt at Olive 8, after the reception. There will not be any provided shuttle transportation to the venue prior to the ceremony, so carpooling is encouraged. Lyft vouchers have been provided as well, see email for more details.

Fine dining and an overall experience! Reservations are strongly recommended if you want to try this place out as they are usually fully booked up.

Canlis

A small and intimate oyster bar and seafood restaurant. Sit at their bar, enjoy some drinks and finger foods while you wait on your table to eat some of the best oysters and seafood the PNW has to offer!

The Walrus and the Carpenter

A cute Italian restaurant with delicious food and drinks. On Tuesdays and Saturdays, they do aerial performances with other types of entertainment other days of the week! We recommend making a reservation if you can, but if not, they do accept walk-ins. The earlier you go, the more likely they can squeeze you in!

The Pink Door

Cozy, authentic Italian food and pizza. Come enjoy some of the best pizzas baked in their wood fired oven. Only open for dinner so plan accordingly!

Lupo

Hole in the wall Filipino restaurant with creative and amazing cocktails. Bring some friends and order a bunch of food to enjoy family-style!

Musang

One of multiple locations that serves oysters farmed and harvested by Taylor Shellfish Farms. Definitely some of the best oysters from the region and a good place to get a quick bite while out exploring the city.

The spot to go for authentic Malaysian street food! The Nasi Lemak and Laksa Lemak are must-tries! Be sure to mix everything up good to really combine those flavors before digging in.

Kedai Makan

If you love Indian food, you will love this place! Some of the best Indian food we have ever had and a restaurant raved by all the locals! If you are in the Redmond area, give this place a taste!

Kanishka Cuisine of India

Hands down the best ice cream in the region and arguably the US. Enjoy the everyday menu of popular flavors or their monthly seasonal menu. Our favorite ice cream shop and a must-go for all of those with that sweet tooth! Fun fact, after getting engaged, we had to make a stop here to get a scoop (or two)!

Come enjoy wine on a patio in the perfect Seattle summer weather! A perfect spot to kick back, relax, and enjoy a wide selection of wine. If one tasting room isn't enough, there is another one right next door, along with Vivi Pizzeria. A perfect combination to enjoy food, wine, and occasionally live music.

Another winery in Woodinville with an expansive lawn and seating options. Grab a picnic blanket, bring an assortment of food (or buy food at the winery), and enjoy the company of friends while enjoying wine from their tasting menu.

Some of our favorite outdoor hikes with views that will take your breath away, all within spitting distance of Seattle! Take a morning or afternoon to explore some of these trails. Some of the more popular hikes will definitely get crowded during the day, so go early if you want to avoid a crowd! Be sure to check AllTrails (or whatever other app you would use) for the trail difficulty.
