WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?
The dress code for the wedding ceremony and reception is black tie. We ask women to wear a floor length formal gown and men to wear either a tuxedo or black suit and tie.
How do I get to the Wedding Ceremony?
The wedding ceremony will be held at Our Lady of Loretto Catholic Church in Cold Spring NY. Parking is to the left of the church off of Fair Street. Plenty of parking is available!
Do I need a pass to get to the Hotel Thayer?
When you approach West Point at the Thayer Gate, pull up in the left lane for guests and visitors. Let the Guard know you are attending a wedding at the Thayer Hotel. You can then pull through the gate and turn to the right, up the driveway. They can valet your car for you or you are free to unload and then park your car in the lot down the hill and across the street from the Thayer. West Point itself is a secure facility. In order to tour West Point you will need to stop in at the Visitors Center and obtain a pass.
