Our venue is Stella Events and Adventures (formerly Stella Plantation), located at 4881 LA-39 in Braithwaite, LA. All wedding events will be held here at Stella. There is on-site parking available.

The attire is semi-formal/cocktail. Please note, the ceremony will be outdoors, and our reception will be indoor. Please dress accordingly depending on the weather.

YES! We kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos and videos during our ceremony and be in the moment with us! We have a photographer and videographer who will capture these special moments with all of our loved ones.

To give our guests the opportunity to celebrate without worrying about littles, we politely request no children outside of those in the wedding party.

There are two hotels in Chalmette, approximately 25 minutes from our venue - The Best Western Plus Chalmette and Holiday Inn Express & Suites Chalmette. Stella also has lodges on Paloma Lake approximately 3 minutes from the venue. More details can be found on the "Accommodations" tab of our wedding website.

Our number one piece of advice is to PLAN AHEAD! Uber and Lyft do operate in this area, but it's very limited, especially after the reception. We HIGHLY recommend pre-scheduling an Uber or Lyft back to your accommodations if you do not drive to the venue. Please note the Belle Chasse ferry runs until 10:15 pm. The reception is scheduled to end around 9:30 pm.
