BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR PASSPORTS!
Remember Ireland is 6 hours ahead of MN time!
We are flying into Dublin a few days early and taking public transportation into the heart of the capitol city. We will be exploring by foot, as Dublin is tourist friendly.
We plan on seeing the Trinity Library, Guinness Storehouse, Jameson Distillery, Temple Bar, St. Patricks Catherderal.
If you choose to travel early, we would love to explore with you! However, flight and accommodation planning will be up to you.
After checking out of the castle, Heather and Adam will begin their honeymoon.
We will be renting a car on November 4th through then making the 2.5 hour journey to Belle Isle Castle.
If you are looking to make this a big trip and will extend your stay longer than the wedding, DUB is a great choice.
Aer Lingus and Delta will now be operating nonstop flights from MSP.
Plane tickets will be on sale in December 2023. We check google flights and set flight alerts, that way you can see when prices decrease. We saw flights at low as $600 for November 2023.
DUB is about 2.5 hours from the Wedding Castle.
We are choosing to start our journey in Dublin as it is a great hub for rental cars and centrally located to see what Ireland has to offer. Dublin is in the Republic of Ireland, and Belle Isle is in Northern Ireland. Crossing the boarder is easy and requires nothing.
If you are looking for a quick trip, this airport is approximately 1.5 hours from the Wedding Castle and is within Northern Ireland, just like Belle Isle Castle.
Belle Isle Castle is your beautiful home for 3 days. Heather and Adam will cover your accommodation at the castle, there is no booking required for guests. Breakfast is included each morning. As well, wedding dinner on November 5th. Lunches and other dinners will be on your own, check out the Things to do Page for ideas.
