While we understand that it may be early to be making travel plans, Custer State Park Resort's accommodations book very quickly. Outside of the Park, options are limited, and you can expect a drive time of 20 minutes or more from our reception location. We are only able to set up a small block of rooms. If you are at all interested in reserving a lodge room or cabin on site, the Sylvan Lake Lodge recommends that you call and make your reservations as soon as possible so that you have the best possible chance of getting a lodge room or cabin type that works for you. Call 1-888-875-0001 to make your reservations and reference the Sohl/Spiry Wedding at the Sylvan Lake Lodge on Friday, July 11th , 2025 when calling. If there are no units in the block that suit your needs, you can ask what is available outside of the block, instead. Be prepared to charge the first and last night’s deposit when making your reservation. If you do have to cancel, this deposit is refundable less a $25 cancellation fee if you do so at least 15 days in advance.

There will be no shuttle service from the reception to your lodgings.

All wedding guests will have to stop at the park entrance gates and reference the wedding upon arrival. If you are staying overnight, you will need to purchase a state park pass. If you are only attending the wedding, you will be given a special event park pass. If you have questions, text Heather at (712)348-8031.

Please indicate in your RSVP of any special dietary restrictions. Accommodations for food can be made but we must know about it in advance.

There will be a cash bar available. The bar will accept cash or credit card.

Instead of a traditional registry, we have a cash fund set up on our website where you can direct deposit towards our honeymoon, which is a cruise in Alaska.
