How&nbsp;They&nbsp;Met

Michael&nbsp;and&nbsp;Heather&nbsp;met&nbsp;during&nbsp;the&nbsp;summer&nbsp;of&nbsp;2013&nbsp;working&nbsp;at Chrysler&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;Toledo&nbsp;assembly&nbsp;plant.&nbsp;&nbsp;Heather&nbsp;was&nbsp;an&nbsp;intern,&nbsp;and&nbsp;Michael&nbsp;was&nbsp;doing&nbsp;a&nbsp;rotation&nbsp;for&nbsp;his&nbsp;CIE&nbsp;program.



 



How&nbsp;They&nbsp;Started&nbsp;Dating







Through&nbsp;the&nbsp;years,&nbsp;Heather&nbsp;and&nbsp;Michael&nbsp;would&nbsp;occasionally&nbsp;see&nbsp;each&nbsp;other&nbsp;after&nbsp;that&nbsp;summer&nbsp;in&nbsp;Toledo&nbsp;when&nbsp;Heather&nbsp;hired&nbsp;in&nbsp;full&nbsp;time&nbsp;at&nbsp;Chrysler.&nbsp; Eventually,&nbsp;after&nbsp;about&nbsp;three&nbsp;years&nbsp;of&nbsp;friendship,&nbsp;Michael&nbsp;asked&nbsp;Heather&nbsp;out&nbsp;on&nbsp;a&nbsp;date,&nbsp;and&nbsp;it's&nbsp;been&nbsp;nothing&nbsp;but&nbsp;fun&nbsp;and&nbsp;happiness&nbsp;ever&nbsp;since.

Around&nbsp;two&nbsp;years&nbsp;of&nbsp;dating,&nbsp;Michael&nbsp;and&nbsp;Heather&nbsp;picked&nbsp;out&nbsp;the engagement&nbsp;ring&nbsp;together,&nbsp;and&nbsp;on&nbsp;May&nbsp;5th,&nbsp;2018&nbsp;Michael&nbsp;asked&nbsp;Heather&nbsp;to&nbsp;marry&nbsp;him&nbsp;while&nbsp;they&nbsp;were&nbsp;driving&nbsp;up&nbsp;to&nbsp;Midland. Naturally,&nbsp;she said&nbsp;yes.

Details

Candy&nbsp;is&nbsp;Heather's&nbsp;cousin.&nbsp;&nbsp;Ever&nbsp;since&nbsp;the&nbsp;two&nbsp;were&nbsp;babies,&nbsp;they&nbsp;were&nbsp;always&nbsp;close.&nbsp;&nbsp;From&nbsp;skinny&nbsp;dipping&nbsp;at&nbsp;Seneca&nbsp;Lake,&nbsp;to&nbsp;tubing&nbsp;adventures/disasters,&nbsp;to&nbsp;Fecester&nbsp;in&nbsp;Florida,&nbsp;the&nbsp;fun&nbsp;times&nbsp;and&nbsp;memories&nbsp;always&nbsp;last.

MJ&nbsp;and&nbsp;Heather&nbsp;met&nbsp;when&nbsp;Heather&nbsp;was&nbsp;6&nbsp;years&nbsp;old&nbsp;and&nbsp;swimming&nbsp;on&nbsp;the&nbsp;Marlins.&nbsp;&nbsp;MJ&nbsp;and&nbsp;Heather&nbsp;were&nbsp;always&nbsp;neighbors,&nbsp;with&nbsp;the&nbsp;exception&nbsp;of&nbsp;a&nbsp;4&nbsp;year&nbsp;hiatus&nbsp;in&nbsp;Texas.&nbsp;MJ&nbsp;and&nbsp;Heather&nbsp;got&nbsp;to&nbsp;swim&nbsp;together&nbsp;again&nbsp;in&nbsp;college&nbsp;at&nbsp;Wayne&nbsp;State&nbsp;University&nbsp;for&nbsp;1&nbsp;year,&nbsp;and&nbsp;they&nbsp;lived&nbsp;across&nbsp;the&nbsp;hall&nbsp;from&nbsp;each&nbsp;other&nbsp;for&nbsp;another&nbsp;2.&nbsp;Now&nbsp;isn't&nbsp;that&nbsp;just&nbsp;extraaa&nbsp;special?

Hira&nbsp;and&nbsp;Heather&nbsp;met&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;bathroom&nbsp;at&nbsp;Chrysler.&nbsp;&nbsp;After&nbsp;finding&nbsp;out&nbsp;they&nbsp;went&nbsp;to&nbsp;Wayne&nbsp;State&nbsp;at&nbsp;the&nbsp;same&nbsp;time&nbsp;and&nbsp;knew&nbsp;a&nbsp;lot&nbsp;of&nbsp;people,&nbsp;they&nbsp;became&nbsp;fast&nbsp;friends.&nbsp;&nbsp;Hira&nbsp;and&nbsp;Heather&nbsp;have&nbsp;been&nbsp;through&nbsp;a&nbsp;lot&nbsp;together,&nbsp;and&nbsp;the&nbsp;support&nbsp;and&nbsp;friendship&nbsp;over&nbsp;the&nbsp;years&nbsp;is&nbsp;unconditional.

Renee&nbsp;is&nbsp;Heather's&nbsp;soon&nbsp;to&nbsp;be&nbsp;sister-in-law.&nbsp;&nbsp;She&nbsp;is&nbsp;Michael's&nbsp;older&nbsp;and&nbsp;awesome&nbsp;sister.&nbsp;&nbsp;From&nbsp;celebrating&nbsp;her&nbsp;bachelorette&nbsp;party&nbsp;and&nbsp;wedding,&nbsp;to&nbsp;dog&nbsp;day&nbsp;in&nbsp;Frankenmuth,&nbsp;and&nbsp;mountain&nbsp;biking/trying&nbsp;not&nbsp;to&nbsp;crash,&nbsp;Renee&nbsp;is&nbsp;a&nbsp;blast&nbsp;to&nbsp;be&nbsp;around.

Alycen&nbsp;and&nbsp;Heather&nbsp;met&nbsp;on&nbsp;the&nbsp;swim&nbsp;team&nbsp;at&nbsp;Wayne&nbsp;State&nbsp;Alycen's&nbsp;freshman&nbsp;year.&nbsp;&nbsp;The&nbsp;two&nbsp;bonded&nbsp;over&nbsp;mutual&nbsp;interest&nbsp;in&nbsp;engineering,&nbsp;and&nbsp;remained&nbsp;friends&nbsp;through&nbsp;college&nbsp;and&nbsp;after&nbsp;college,&nbsp;when&nbsp;they&nbsp;both&nbsp;started&nbsp;at&nbsp;Chrysler&nbsp;together.&nbsp;&nbsp;From&nbsp;swimming&nbsp;and&nbsp;winning&nbsp;together&nbsp;to&nbsp;a&nbsp;business&nbsp;trip&nbsp;in&nbsp;Nashville,&nbsp;it's&nbsp;always&nbsp;a&nbsp;good&nbsp;time&nbsp;with&nbsp;Sweats.

Carolyn&nbsp;and&nbsp;Heather&nbsp;have&nbsp;been&nbsp;friends&nbsp;since&nbsp;high&nbsp;school.&nbsp;&nbsp;Through&nbsp;the&nbsp;years,&nbsp;they've&nbsp;always&nbsp;stayed&nbsp;in&nbsp;touch&nbsp;and&nbsp;supported&nbsp;each&nbsp;other.&nbsp;&nbsp;Carolyn&nbsp;is&nbsp;one&nbsp;of&nbsp;few&nbsp;friends&nbsp;from&nbsp;high&nbsp;school&nbsp;that&nbsp;has&nbsp;stayed&nbsp;in&nbsp;Heather's&nbsp;life.

Kirsten&nbsp;and&nbsp;Heather&nbsp;met&nbsp;while&nbsp;working&nbsp;at&nbsp;SHAP,&nbsp;or&nbsp;as&nbsp;we&nbsp;not&nbsp;quite&nbsp;affectionately&nbsp;call&nbsp;it,&nbsp;SHART.&nbsp;Kirsten&nbsp;and&nbsp;Heather&nbsp;became&nbsp;friends&nbsp;outside&nbsp;of&nbsp;work&nbsp;as&nbsp;well&nbsp;due&nbsp;to&nbsp;their&nbsp;mutual&nbsp;love&nbsp;of&nbsp;cats&nbsp;and&nbsp;DIY&nbsp;projects.
